Though we all face times of trial and tribulation, Our Lord is here and willing to be our peace. I am in the middle of the darkest circumstances I have ever faced. Even darker than the Divorce of my own Parents.

The Lord has laid things on my heart that comfort me. First off he will never leave us nor forsake us. The Bible states that He is faithful and just to complete the work that he has started in us until the day of his return. A promise to keep us on the path that leads to his transformation in us as we continue to be and become more like Jesus. God has me right where he wants me. In spite of the loneliness and brokeness his Rod and Staff the comfort me.

Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

We can be truly broken and destroyed, only to be built up again into a new being that is changed for His glory! The promises of his love are great and new every morning. We have been given the strength to face whatever today brings no matter what that may be. We are not given the strength to deal with the evils of tomorrow. I can't take tomorrow on. It would be too much and I would go bonkers. I have to focus on what is today. His graces are new every morning and fill us with the power that is in Christ Jesus to allow us to handle anything that comes today. We are equipped with that.

Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD,

God has plans for me and for you too. These are no small plans they are plans that show the promise above. Plans for prosperity. Plans that do not include harming you no matter the circumstance of our lives. Circumstances can be overwhelming. It is OK to cry and talk to God to tell him how you feel. Through prayer and petition we are to make all of our needs known to God. His Love is great and I know he is there. He is watching over you at this very moment. If you're in pain, if you're in the darkness and the suffering is too much, lift it to God. Let him take it from you. He can, and he will. Keeping in mind that his Grace is sufficient to allow you to make it through today. It is when the pains and evils of tomorrow come in that it will be unhealthy. His Word (the Bible) is our owner's manual. It guides us in right paths and heals us where the healing is needed. It can and will lift you. Your emotions and mine follow somewhere behind our actions. Even at a great distance sometimes.

Being a Christian is not a promise of health, wealth, and prosperity in the things of this world. It is appointed to a Man once to die. We are given the promise of eternal life with a King in a Heaven that no one can earthly describe. I heard once that our first moment in heaven is worth a million life times on earth. We have no earthly words to describe such a place. Whatever trials you are in. Whatever your valley of Darkness is. Know this, you are not alone and again He is with you. I have to tell myself this over and over right now. My valley is the Darkest ever. I wake up in tears from nightmares. Nightmares of fear and separation from the one that I Love. We can choose to handle these situations through prayer and petition making all of our needs know to him. He is faithful to answer even when we don't understand the answer. Gods will and timing is often mysterious to me and until I am through the darkness I may not understand the why of the Darkness I was in, and why I must suffer these earthly losses right now.
I can only choose to be a better Man through Christ whom strengthens me, and carries me in these times. His Love is all we need. It is what I need immensely today. Maybe it is what you need now too.
